“I am just lying in bed - haven’t slept yet and don’t think I will for the next week..
Yesterday was the most spectacular day of our lives, all thanks to you. Where do I even start? The concept at my home captured all my favourite things: simplicity, class and integrity. I could hear people saying “wow” even though I was upstairs. The church complimented that to a whole new extent. My heart dropped when I walked in. It was us, every detail of it, a humble yet exquisite setting.
I carried on with my day looking so forward to the reception but little did I know. For me, over the last two years, it has been a matter of choosing and always and completely trusting that your suggestions would work wonderfully but how they worked together was something I can’t express in words. Your eye for detail and thirst to perfect things shone through every element in the room. I don’t know if Megan told you but I seriously melted when they opened the curtains. She felt my heart thumping! I don’t even know what to say or where to begin to thank you for understanding my desired concept, taste and values even with my lack of expression most of the time. I couldn’t believe that was our wedding, it looked like something out of a fairy tale. I had staff members at Leonda coming up to me and telling me that they’ve never seen something so spectacular and work so well together despite all the weddings they’ve seen. Sitting at the bridal table, my guests’ faces said it all. I could see them looking around the table and room in awe. You didn’t only style and organise our wedding, you reflected our values in it too.
You treated our wedding like your own, even in all the circumstances you made sure things weren’t just covered but covered by people with the same love and passion - Megan is incredible and Angie is perfect. I can never thank you in the way you deserve but for now I hope you know that you made yesterday the best day of our lives and of many others. My parents were at their happiest yesterday looking around and taking it all in. They could see that all of our dreams had come true because of all your hard work. Again, that is something I simply cannot ever thank you enough for.
